Where have our rights to protest gone?
We’re living in a state now where governments actively persecute climate protesters for taking a stand for their future.
In April the NSW government passed draconian anti-protest and anti-assembly laws that made it illegal for protesters to “block major economic activity”…. Like the destruction of our planet through ongoing fossil fuel projects….
Protesters now face up to $22,000 fines and up to 2 years in prison for taking a stand against climate change.
This is the state we now live in. This is the state we have to change.
We call on justice for and stand in solidarity with Violet Coco and all people who are being wrongly persecuted for their right to protest.
