Greens say end duck shooting in Victoria
Greens MP, Sue Pennicuik witnessed the opening of the duck shooting season at Dowd Morass in Gippsland. Victoria’s duck populations are depleted after many years of drought so it is incomprehensible that the state government declared another duck season. In any case it should be banned as it is in NSW, Qld & WA because it is cruel and against basic, wildlife conservation principles.
